The Ultimate Christmas Movie Bracket: First Round

Now let’s answer any questions that you may have.

How does this work?

It’s basically March Madness, but for Christmas movies. 32 movies, competing head to head, 1 champion. Talk about #competitivechristmas

How do I participate?

Voting starts NOW! Scroll down to Round 1 to start voting.

Each match up will be a head to head vote – winning movie after each time period of voting moves on to the next round. (time frames are above) Multiple match ups will be live at one time otherwise this thing will go on until the 4th of July.

I encourage your participation, particularly if you feel strongly that Elf is far and away the best Christmas movie ever created.

What’s the prize for the winning movie?

I will be tracking down the winning movie’s casting director and sending him ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. This competition is just for fun.

What do I get out of it?

  1. The opportunity for festive trash talking. (I encourage you to leave your comments below)
  2. Supporting my blog without having to read my blog because ugh, reading is the worst.
  3. The answer to everyone’s burning question – what is the best Christmas movie of all time according to Jackie’s friends and family?
  4. Fill out your own bracket and get all the winners right and if I know you in real life I’ll bake you a treat of your choosing. If I don’t know you in real life, then you shouldn’t take homemade cookies from a stranger. Come on now, think that one through please.

Looking forward to playing with each and every one of you. Here’s to kicking off the Christmas season!

  1. I love this! A few of these movies I’ve never seen before, so I’m going to have to make an effort to watch them this year. Man, some of these were hard to pick between because I love both movie. Like how dare you put Rudolph and Charlie Brown together?! Of course, I picked Rudolph, but it was still hard!

  2. This is such a fun idea!! Great job putting it together Jackie! Many of these films I haven’t actually watched before, so I’m adding them to my list of Christmas films to watch. 😁
